Yom Kippur – the Day of Atonement

1. The high priest who entered the holiest with the blood – Lev 16:3, 14; Heb 9:7; 9:11-12.

2. The bullock slain for the sin offering – Lev 16:6, Heb 9:14.

3. The goat slain for the sins of the people – Lev 16:15, Heb 9:14.

4. The Veil through which the Holiest was entered – Lev16:2, Heb 10:20.

5. The Mercy Seat (The Ark) on which the blood was sprinkled – Lev 16:14. Romans 3:25.

6. The scapegoat that bore away the confessed sins into the wilderness – Lev 16:21-22. John 1:29.

7. The body of the victim burned outside the camp – Lev 16:27. Heb 13:11-12.
