Lord, I hope I never hear the awful groan or wail,
Of those that I feel I’ve let slip, into the pits of hell
Because I haven’t told them, perhaps not what they wanted, but needed to hear
In order to be ‘born-again’ and thus deal with the fear,
That death presents to most of us!
God gives free-will and therefore choice,
He only wants our heart and voice,
To acknowledge His love with thanks and praise,
His mercy has numbered all our days!
(When we’ve stepped through death’s door, hope has gone for evermore!)
