Death – the Great Leveller

Death looms larger the older we get!
We may choose to stay in denial and yet
Death comes to call anytime, anywhere
So it makes good sense that we should prepare?
For heaven that is! Hell needs no preparation!
Jesus means eternal bliss, but hell eternal separation!
For very few humans death holds little fear
Because God set eternity deep in man here
So age doesn’t matter when death comes to call
Each needs to be ready, one and all, great and small
Wealth, career, relationships – nothing in this world secure!
This appointment can’t be altered – of that we may be sure!!
