“Rejoice, O ye Nations, with His people.” Deuteronomy 32:43.
Where? In Jerusalem. This will be seen in the future when He returns as Zechariah chapter 14 teaches. The nations shall go up to Yerushalayim at Succot (Tabernacles). Some gentile believers have already started!
“Praise the L-rd, all ye Nations!” Psalm 117:1.
Where? In all His houses (Messianic Fellowships/Churches) around the world that have been built to His glory.
“The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light!” Isaiah 9:1
“And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it the Nations shall seek, and His rest shall be glorious.” Isaiah 11:10.
“It is a light thing that Thou shouldest be My Servant, to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved of Israel; I will also give Thee for a light to the Nations (Gentiles/Goyeem), that My salvation may be unto the end of the earth.” Isaiah 49:6.
“But thou, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall come forth unto Me that is to be Ruler in Israel, and His goings forth are from ancient time, from days of old (eternity).” Micah 5:1.
“Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, thy King cometh unto you, He is just and deserving to be helped. Lowly and riding upon an ass, a colt, the foal of an ass.” NB. Fulfilled 30ad/ce. Zechariah 9:9.
“And after threescore and two weeks shall an Anointed (the Messiah) be cut off*, and none will be left to Him, and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy** the city and the sanctuary” (Temple).” NB. Fulfilled *30ad/ce. Fulfilled **70ad/ce. Daniel 9:26.
(THE ONLY LOGICAL CONCLUSION ANYONE CAN COME TO, AFTER READING THE HOLY SCRIPTURES THEMSELVES, IS THAT THE MESSIAH HAD TO BE CUT OFF (DIE) BEFORE THE DESTRUCTION OF THE SANCTUARY (THE TEMPLE) WHICH WE KNOW TOOK PLACE IN 70AD/CE WE SHOULD NOTE THAT THE PRECEDING TWO VERSES IN DANIEL IN THEIR CONTEXT TO THIS ONE ARE CLEARLY ALSO SPEAKING ABOUT ISRAEL’S MESSIAH).
“But I will pour upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplications; and they whom the nations were piercing shall look upon Me (the Messiah).” Zechariah 12:10.
And one shall say unto Him, “What are these wounds in thine hands?” Then he shall answer, “Those with which I was wounded in the house of My friends.” Zechariah 13:6.
[NB. One may argue that this prophecy in its literal form is speaking of a false prophet which is true. However, using Midrashic principles of exegesis we can see a ‘remez’ here, a ‘hint’ of this verse having a double fulfilment in that it speaks to us in picture language of the Messiah being wounded in the House of His friends. ie. His own people after the flesh, who upon listening to their leaders cried out for His crucifixion. Yeshua was wounded in two ways, in His heart and in His hands! This same Yeshua will show His people these wound marks on His hands when He returns as Moshiach Ben David (To reign and rule as King) having already come once and being wounded unto death as Moshiach Ben Yosef – The Suffering Servant].
Why? Please go to the teaching on Moshiach Ben Yosef is Moshiach Ben David for a fuller explanation.
