The Church and The Citizens of Heaven as Seen in the Letter of Titus

1) Chapter 1.  An Orderly Church – seen through the authority of the elders as they lead the church. They are to pray and fast, study the Scriptures, teach believers and give sound advice and counsel.

2) Chapter 2 – A Sound Church – this is seen through the body who are to be disciples. Sound doctrine produces saints who are to become the citizens of Heaven.

3) Chapter 3 – An Active and Practical Church – seen through its charter of privileges and responsibilities before God. It is to bring honour to the Lord Jesus who is the Head of His Church. Without a vision the saints go astray.
