Psalm 11

FAITH OR FEAR?

1.       FEAR IS CONQUERED – verses 1 to 3.

                   A) David’s Determined Trust  – verse 1.

                   B) David’s Developing Troubles – verses 2 to 3.

                   We should note the craftiness of our spiritual enemies and fully

                   recognise from verse 3 that Foundational Truths must be preached and taught.

2.       FACTS ARE CONSIDERED – verses 4 to 6.

                   A) Where the Lord sits – verse 4a.

                   B) What the Lord sees – verses 4b to 5.

                   C) What the Lord sends – verse 6.

                   Here in verse 6 is the portion of the impenitent.

3.       FAITH IS CONFESSED – verse 7.

                   Verse 7 shows us God’s righteousness and that He blesses those who practice it.
