These are the words and sayings of our Messiah – Yeshua HaMashiach, Melech Yisrael ve Sar Shalom.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father (Avi) do: for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them even so the Son gives life to whom He will. For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgement to the Son, that all should honour the Son just as they honour the Father. He who does not honour the Son does not Honour the Father who sent Him.” John 5:19, 21-23.
Does God (Elohim) have a Son? (His Anointed One). The Jewish prophet Agur wrote for us the following:-
(This makes it quite clear for us, as only God has established all the ends of the earth. The question can now be answered as the Son has come and many of our people believed at the time. Jesus the Jew is our Mashiach, for He came to give eternal life.)
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgement, but has passed from death into life. Most assuredly, I say unto you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth – those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. John 5:24-25, 28-29.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” John 3:3, 17-18.
“You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. But you are not willing to come to me, that you may have life. For if you believed Moses (Moshe), you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?”
John 5:39-40, 46-47.
Where did Moses write of the Messiah and His words?
Elohim said, “I will raise up for them a Prophet like from among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. And it shall be that whoever will not hear My words, which He speaks in My name, I will require it of him.” Deuteronomy 18:18-19.
We have already read some of the words of Yeshua the Messiah, who is also the Prophet who was to come. His titles are many, the principle ones being Mashiach(The Anointed One), Ben Elohim(Son of God) and HaNavi(The Prophet), who was the Suffering Servant of Isaiah chapter 53 dying for the sins of mankind. Who was to rise again from the dead to show life after death. Our God has clearly stated through Moshe/Moses that He will require it of the person who does not listen to the words that His Prophet who would come (who must be Jewish as Jesus was) would speak for Him.
“My teaching is not Mine, but His who sent Me.” John 7:16.
“Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.” John 10:17-18.
Then Jesus said to them, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I AM, and that I do nothing of Myself, but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things. And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him.” As He spoke these words, many believed in Him. John 8:28-30.
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish: neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father who has given them to Me, is greater than all and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and the Father are one (echad).” John 10:27-30.
Yeshua (Jesus) saw Nathanael coming towards Him, and said of him, “Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no deceit!”
Nathanael said to Him, “How do you know me?” Yeshua answered and said to him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”
Nathanael answered and said to Him, “Rabbi, You are the Son of God! (Ben Elohim); You are the King of Israel!” (Melech Yisrael). John 1:47-49.
“The hour is coming and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those that worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth.” The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming, when he comes He will tell us all things.” Yeshua said to her, “I who speak to you am He.” John 4:23-26.
Yeshua said to her, “I AM the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And Whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” Martha said to Him, “Yes Lord, I believe that You are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.” John 11:25-27.
When Yeshua (Jesus) came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His talmidim, (disciples) saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?”
So they said, “Some say Yochanan HaMatbiel (John the Baptiser), some Eliyahu (Elijah), and others Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) or one of the HaNavi (the prophets).”
He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
Shim’on Kefa (Simon Peter) answered and said, “You are the Anointed One (the Christ), the Son of the living God.”
Yeshua (Jesus) answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 16:13-17.
