Some Important Koran Surahs and their verses

Physical Jihad is taught:-

Surah 9:5. But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practice regular charity, then open the way for them. For Allah is oft forgiving, most merciful.
In this verse the word to slay is used for non-believers unless they will repent. If unbelievers do not repent then they are to be slain! The only logical conclusion anyone can come to is that Islam pretends to be a religion of peace because they must rule over all others.

Surah 2:191. And slay them wherever ye catch them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out, for tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter, but fight them not at the Sacred mosque, unless they (first) fight you there, but if they fight you, slay them. Such is the reward of those who suppress faith.
This verse again speaks about slaying non-Muslims who would suppress the faith of Islam. So logically one can deduce that Islam requires submission by all other faiths.

Surah 61:9. It is He who has sent His Apostle with Guidance and the Religion of Truth, that he may proclaim it over all religion, even though the pagans may detest it.
Nothing could be more plainly put now, as this verse teaches that Islam’s message must be proclaimed over all other religions. Islam is seen as the Religion of Truth.

Surah 4:56. Those who reject our signs, we shall soon cast into the Fire. As often as their skins are roasted through, we shall change them for fresh skins, that they may taste The Penalty, for Allah is exalted in Power, Wise.
This verse speaks for its self. All those who reject Islam are to be thrown into the Fire!

The God of the Holy Bible and Allah of the Koran cannot be the same God as different teachings can be seen between the two books:-

Surah 41:9. Say. Is it that ye deny Him who created the earth in two days? And do ye join equals with Him? He is the Lord of (all) the Worlds.
The Holy Bible teaches six days of creation not two. The Koran confuses the reader because elsewhere a different number of creation days is taught. We either have a God who is confused between one book to the next or the Koran is wrong.

Surah 5:76. They do blaspheme who say: God is one of three in a Trinity, for there is no god except One God. If they desist not from their blasphemy, verily a grievous penalty will befall the blasphemers among them.

The early Church scholars all agreed in the tri-unity of the Godhead, Father, Son and Holy Spirit as being co-equal, co-existent and co-eternal in being One. So again the God of the Bible and of the Koran are not the same as one teaches a Trinity and the other not! After the canon of the Bible was complete why would God contradict Himself with new teaching some 600 years later through Mohammed who was not a Jew! All the writers of the Tanach (O.T.) were Jewish and the same with the Brit HaDashah (N.T.) except for Luke but he records the birth of the Son of God and records His Deity, Crucifixion and Resurrection. The Holy Bible and the Quran (Koran) are not compatible in their teachings and this surah verse above also carries a curse, a grievous penalty for blasphemy!

Surah 23:91.No son did God beget, nor is there any god along with Him…

Surah 5:19. In blasphemy indeed are those that say; God is Christ the son of Mary.

Surah 5:75. They do blaspheme who say, “God is Christ the son of Mary” …

Surah 19:35. It is not befitting to the majesty of God that he should beget a son …

The above 4 verses and others all deny that Jesus is the Son of God, when verses in the Bible show God the Father calling Jesus His Son. Men acknowledge this including Satan and the demons. Jesus is Lord, has been the message of the New Testament from the beginning.

The Death and Crucifixion and thereby the Resurrection of Jesus are denied:-

Surah 4:157. That they said in boast, “We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Apostle of God.” But they killed Him not, nor crucified Him, but so it was made to appear to them ….
The Gospel cannot be good news for mankind if Jesus did not die and resurrect to show there is life beyond the grave. Even graver is the fact that we are still in our sins as Jesus came to redeem us and His death atoned for our sins before a righteous God when we confess Him as Lord and ask Him to forgive us.

The next Surah shows Mohammed did not bring any new doctrine than that which had already been delivered. Otherwise his message would contradict what God had already given.

Surah 46:9. Say. “I am no bringer of new fangled doctrine among the apostles, nor do I know what will be done with me or with you. I follow but that which is revealed to me by inspiration; I am but a warner open and clear.”
Mohammed’s message is sadly far from clear, it is confusing and contradicts the 4 Gospels and the rest of the New Testament. The Lord Jesus stated He knows the end from the beginning, claimed to be the Son of God who would one day raise and judge the dead. On the other hand Mohammed admits he does not know what will be done with himself or us. The Lord Jesus does, it’s a simple as that. He stated He was the Way, the Truth and the Life and that no one could go to Heaven except through Him. He is the believers great High Priest and Mediator before God as He ever lives to intercede for us just as it is written.

There are other verses within the Koran that either curse Jews and Christians (Surah 9:29-32)
or are anti-Semitic in tone (Surah 5:85 and 5:44). Then there are verses in the writings or sayings of Mohammed that teach Jews are to be killed. It is these verses that are used by the so called fundamentalists to wage physical Jihad against Israel and until Islam sorts itself out theologically the Middle East wars will go on.
